I think this is the 1st real trap game of the year. But all that said Hawks probably win in a laugher 7-1 . Bottom 6 accounts for 5 goals. I like Bickell to net a couple tonight

Anisimov had a really nasty fall the other night against Detroit, got his head sandwiched between a knee and an elbow and hit the ice unconscious. Johnson got injured last night and I think Dubinsky's had issues for a while.

The first game of the home stand may have been...but this could be too. I hate to look past any National Hockey League team...but tomorrow's game vs a wildly talented Edmonton team will be a real challenge, especially since we're playing tonight as well.

Hey Phil. Carryover from the last blog; did you say Detroit is not in the new alignment with the Hawks? If so I don't like it as much.

I know they've been pushing for a spot with the Eastern teams and totally understand why. For purely selfish reasons if they aren't in our division that erases the opportunity to see the Hawks at least a few times at the Joe every year.
